Karleigh Chase is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Connecticut. She obtained her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Montclair State University. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Policy at the University of South Florida, where she graduated with honors.
Karleigh offers individual therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults, as well as couples and families. She has training in treating clients with anxiety and depression, as well as general life stressors and transitions. Karleigh has a passion for working with parents at any stage of their journey. She believes the basis for healing starts with a strong therapeutic alliance where the therapist and client work together to foster and support the client’s autonomy and resilience. Karleigh aims to promote a safe and welcoming environment for all clients through empathy, genuineness, and lack of judgment.
Karleigh believes in the mind/body connection and approaches treatment from a wellness and developmental perspective. She approaches therapy as a collaborative and active process that puts the client in charge, thereby fostering self-confidence, independence, and respect. Karleigh incorporates interventions from many evidence-based theoretical approaches, such as psychodynamic, PCT, CBT, and play therapy, to meet the individual needs of her clients.
