Mildred Wessner
Therapist
My name is Mildred ‘Millie’ Wessner, and I’m a licensed social worker with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. I became a social worker because I believe in the power of healing through meaningful conversations and self-discovery. I bring a strengths-based approach to therapy, tailoring my work to each client’s unique needs. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, and I’m committed to providing a safe, supportive space where my clients feel valued, understood, and empowered to grow.
I take a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy. My approach integrates techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) which enhances my ability to help clients manage overwhelming emotions and build healthier coping strategies, in addition to mindfulness and solution-focused therapy to meet client’s individual needs. I pride myself on building strong, authentic connections with my clients. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment that encourages openness and trust. I believe that genuine connection is the foundation of healing, and I am
committed to supporting each client’s unique journey toward well-being. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your goals.
